About this event
We are going paddle Upstream (7 Miles) to the Army Corps "Bluff 1" site and Camp for 3 days and 2 nights.
This site has a picnic table, a fire ring and a lantern pole, but NO other facilities. If you can't bathe in the river or poop in the woods, you might want to sit this one out.
Because we are launching at Martin Dies SP boat ramp, we will not need a shuttle. There is a nominal fee to leave our cars at the boat ramp. The Park Host "lives" at the boat ramp.
Experienced paddling Campers or Backpackers are welcomed to sign up.

This is an American Canoe Association (ACA) sanctioned event. All participants in ACA-insured activities must wear properly-fitting U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets (Personal Flotation Devices, or PFDs) at all times during on-water activities.
