We will paddle west on Double Bayou into Trinity Bay and then south along the Bay for a total of 5-6 miles out, take a lunch break and then paddle back.

 

Let's meet at 9:00 to launch at 9:30am

Driving directionsTake I-10 east across the Trinity River (about 40 miles east of downtown Houston) to FM 563 (exit 810). Take FM 563 south through Anahuac (6 miles). A little past Anahuac it turns into Eagle Road. Follow it south for about 8 miles. Turn left on W Bayshore and follow it to Job Beason Park. It's about 1 1/4 hour drive from downtown Houston.

Hazards..........................:  Wind, slippery put-in, some boat traffic, oyster shell and HEAT.

Guests – You are welcome to join us for a couple of paddle trips.  HASK will cover the $5 ACA event membership for non-ACA members. Hopefully you will then join HASK and continue paddling with us.
