Fin & Feather RV & Bait is 2.3 miles South of the HEB (Main Intersection Downtown) on Hwy 361 headed towards the Port Aransas Ferry. Hazards: Possible barge traffic crossing the boat channel at the put-in. Motorboat traffic in the pass headed to Quarantine Shoreline. Oyster reefs at low tides (Tide chart below) Protective footwear highly recommended. Stingrays in the bay. Rattle snakes in the brush. (Never saw one yet, but people see them). This is a "Primitive Trip". I will have my 4' x 4' "Travel John" privy tent for all of us (see photo below). You need the rest, like a little trowel. This is an ACA sanctioned event. Every participant must wear a PFD and sign a HASK/ACA Waiver. Click on link below to print out the waiver. Please complete prior to the trip so we can all get on the water a little quicker. HASK members who have provided a waiver to the HASK Membership Director within the last year do not need to complete a waiver.
