Trip Description:
We will launch from the parking lot at Salt Lake in the Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge.

Directions to the Put-in at Salt Lake / Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge (979) 964-4011
1.) Drive to the Main Gate at: 2072 Hoskins Mound Rd; Angleton, TX
2.) Proceed through the gate and drive East 3.3 miles to the Big Slough Visitors Center / Bathrooms
3.) Drive South 1.6 miles to the Salt Lake Fishing Area. Signs provided.
Bring plenty of water, and good sun protection.
Hazards:
Rocky parking lot, wear sturdy shoes. Mosquitos may be an issue. Have a dry bag with spare dry clothing in your boat.
The put-in is a small cement ramp near the one (small) covered pavilion.

This is an ACA sanctioned event. All participants in ACA-insured activities must wear properly-fitting U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets (Personal Flotation Devices, or PFDs) at all times during on-water activities. Non-HASK participants must sign a waiver.
