About this event
This will be a leisurely paddle on Armand Bayou. We will launch from Bay Area Park boat launch (29.595758,-95.089713) and paddle down stream looking for birds, turtles, alligators, and whatever other wildlife we can find. Linda Davis has agreed to come along and act as our eco-guide for this trip, which will focus more on ecology and wildlife than just paddling. This should be a wonderful and informative trip! Let's meet at noon and have lunch at the pavillion before launching. We can discuss what we hope to see and get a feel for everyone's eco-abilities. I have a lot to learn, so I'm very excited!
