Be at the Put-In at 8:30  Paddles wet at 9 AM   $5 to park and launch. Paddlers pay at the Bait Shop.


Directions to the Put-in:  
Put "Stingaree's in your Navigation Device, you'll get there. Take the Ferry or drive through Winnie & High Island, your choice.

Why so early Chris??  Cuz it's hot at 3 pm.  Sun's up at 6:20 at the beach. Let's get an early start and enjoy the best part of the day.

Meet in the parking lot, do not block the boat ramp. Make ready all gear & kayaks before launching.

Level 2 Trip Description:  Expect to paddle 9-10 miles. Participants may paddle less, if returning to the Put-In with a Level 2 Trip Leader.


When off the water, let's regroup for a cold one and something to eat at Stingaree's.

Hazards: Early Summer conditions, Warm, slightly choppy waters possible. Trip Leader(s) may adjust the route at any time to favor the wind if necessary. Will only go if conditions are favorable.  Cross the ICW "Intracoastal Waterway". Expect some light weekday boat traffic, mostly fishermen.

Guests – In order to provide event insurance for everyone, we ask guests or their invitees to provide $10 for each guest, each event for a one-time American Canoe Association insurance fee.  Please consider joining HASK.
