Everyone is invited to attend. We welcome any Non-HASK members to attend.
However, anyone planning to participate in a paddle or training exercise must be an ACA Member or pay $10 for ACA Coverage.

About this event
THIS IS NOT THE OFFICIAL HASK ANNUAL PICNIC
Come have a relaxing picnic and paddle Father's Day (Saturday) weekend with us on the San Bernard River at Bates Allen Park.
We can't have our regular monthly meeting due to venue availability.
I will bring the "Community" Grill and prepare Hamburgers, Brats, etc.
HASK will supply Cold water, Hamburgers and Brats . Everyone is encouraged to kick in with some kind of picnic items and condiments like Hamburger and Brat Buns, Mayo, Ketchup, Pickles, Cheese, etc.. Let me know what you plan to bring, so that we have less duplication.
Bring a shade or "EZ-Up", if you have one.
I am looking for volunteer Trip Leaders to run short paddles up and/or downstream from the park.
There will be impromptu paddle instruction and mini-seminar discussions in the park about our favorite subjects. I ask that all available Instructor kick in and help improve our skills.
I'm sure there will be plenty of "Paddle/Fish Stories" bouncing around too.
If anyone can think of games silly enough for our group, bring them on!
Bring your lawn chair and cooler and chill out!

The paddling portion of this event is an American Canoe Association (ACA) sanctioned event. All paddlers in ACA-insured activities must wear properly-fitting U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets (Personal Flotation Devices, or PFDs) at all times during on-water activities.
Waivers - Please complete our easy-to-use online waiver if you are a HASK member who has not signed a waiver within the last 12 months or a non- HASK participant. Read the waiver carefully. You give up substantial rights when you sign it.
