This is an ACA sanctioned event. All participants in ACA-insured activities must wear properly-fitting U.S. Coast Guard-approved lifejackets (Personal Flotation Devices, or PFDs) at all times during on-water activities. Non-HASK participants must sign a waiver.

About this event
We will paddle 6-9 miles on Oyster Creek, followed by lunch at Pacific Coast Tacos (1525 Lake Point Parkway, #600, Sugar Land, TX
We will meet at 9:30 and launch at 10:00 AM.
Please park at Fidelity Investments, opposite from Pacific Coast Tacos as that is the closest place to move boats down the embankment to the water's edge.
We will paddle downstream under HWY 59 to the next dam and return (about 6 miles). From there, we will go upstream to the floating docks at First Colony and back to our put-in, altogether about 8-9 miles. After loading our boats, we will retire to Pacific Coast Tacos for a nice meal and conversation.
Bring snacks, plenty of fluids, hat, sunscreen and an extra set of clothes... just in case.

Guests – You are welcome to join us for a couple of paddle trips. HASK will cover the $5 ACA event membership for non-ACA members. Hopefully you will then join HASK and continue paddling with us.
