Lucky me. I’m in the Appalachians paddling whitewater and headed to Tybee to surf this weekend. Bad timing as I’ll miss the HASK picnic (which saddens me).
Good timing as Dale – the NDK distributor – is clearing his warehouse as we ready custom orders for another container. As a result, I can pass on some exceptional deals on new or used NDK kayaks (Echo, Pilgrim, Echo, Expedition, Romany Classic, Surf, Excel). Since I’m already going to Tybee to pick up a boat, I can bring back (via trailer) your boat without charging shipping (to Texas).
I’ve not seen a sale like this since RiverCoast began in 2019. I certainly could not offer these prices before. The outdoor industry experienced access inventory of new and used equipment following an abrupt change after COVID. Since the RiverCoast business model is based on custom orders, we did not get hit too hard. (Although I do have a couple of new Romany Classic/Plus kayaks still wrapped up in plastic, also.)
NOTE: By law, Texas state law requires any seller of 3+ items (boats, lawn mowers, garage sales, etc) with total of $3k+ within 12 months to collect sales tax on "behalf" of the buyer or the buyer must pay a "use" tax.
