Trip Description: Paddle Christmas Bay in a triangular path back to the launch - about 8 miles.  We will take a lunch break about 2/3 way through.

Directions to the Put-in:
Enter Amigo Lane, Freeport, TX 77541 in your navigation device. It is 3.3 miles SW of the San Luis Pass Bridge and 10.5 miles NW of Surfside.  Most will use 288 and hit the Blue Water highway in Surfside and turn left.  If you are coming from Galveston, you will pay a $2 fee to cross the San Luis Pass Bridge.

Be at the put-in on Amigo Lane just off the Blue Water Highway, at 9:00 AM. Paddles wet at 9:30.

Hazards: Heat, some boat traffic, sting rays, oyster reefs (no flip flops or bare feet), and be sure to bring lunch, and plenty of  water, and good sun protection. We'll stop for lunch on a shell beach.  It's helpful to get a lay of the land on Google Earth ahead of time.

Let's meet at 9:00 to launch at 9:30 a.m.
