Here's a link to see the pictures -- I know it's hard to get to the pictures from the HASK email. I'm asking $700 for the boat.
When I was at Week of Rivers in 2015, the Zen was the rage as a take-on-anything river runner. Since that time, subsequent models (Zen 2 and Zen 3) have been made larger, longer, wider, flatter and heavier to serve as "beginning teaching boats" with boring primary colors. But mine is the original, easy to paddle but ready for real whitewater.
Here's a repeat of the original info:
This Zen 55 has only been paddled once. Right after I bought it, my back went out. By the time that healed, I had aged out. So now I'm getting out. This is the original hot river-runner Zen in one of the original amazing colors. There are no marks on the boat except for a few scratches on the bottom. When new, the boat sold for $1100.
The Zen 55 measures 7'10 1/2" long, 23 3/4" wide, and is rated for 70-150 lbs. Ideal for a smaller paddler.
The boat comes with a Seals cockpit cover. For an additional $50, you can have a used-once SnapDragon spray skirt (see picture), large deck, large tunnel (value $105). And for another $150, you can have an Adventure Technology (AT) bent shaft whitewater paddle (originally $400), 192 cm, 45-degree feather (see picture). A wonderful rugged paddle that will really save the wear and tear on your wrists. I used this paddle a lot, and it is indestructible.
Location is Houston, available for local pickup. Shipping is not included.
