Sorry for the short notice on this paddle but if not this weekend it will have to be late in August. I will open the trip up for more people as instructors become available. ACA has a an instructor / student ratio we try to honor.

We will meet at Bayshore Park.   PADDLES WET BY 9:00AM.   I would like this to be a training paddle where we will paddle an hour down the bay shore and return, we practice forward and reverse strokes, various rudders, edging, and rescues. This is challenge by choice so you only do what you are comfortable with. Because of the heat we will try to be off the water by 11 AM,  noon at the latest.

Hazards -- Sunburn,windburn, hyperthermia, pilings, boat traffic,  jellyfish, stingrays, fire ants. We will try to avoid hazards. Most importantly, bring plenty of water, sun protection, and snacks.

Guests – You are welcome to join us for a couple of paddle trips.  HASK will cover the $5 ACA event membership for non-ACA members. Hopefully you will then join HASK and continue paddling with us.
