FOR SALE – Prijon Catalina – Red Polyethylene– with Rudder - $600
Very good condition with new bungees and sound deck lines. Rudder works fine. It has always been stored in a garage.
The hull has typical scratches but nothing serious.
This was my first boat and I paddled it for about five years until I bought my Nordkapp, then Linda has used it as her second boat for oystery trips. I bought it used in 2004 for $1000.
See stats and links below, but in my experience, this is a very good beginner to intermediate boat that is relatively fast for its 15’ 3” length, tracks well, and has good initial and secondary stability. It turns well when heeled, not so well when not heeled but there is the rudder. It fits me well and has two very roomy hatches with large secure covers, making it good for camping.
If you can’t view the attached photos, please email me for them if interested.
